2009 Sumner Egg Festival Pageant

(check-in starts at 2:00 p.m.)

Age divisions: (based on the day of the pageant, 30 day grace period)

            Baby 0-23 months                                       Little 7-9 years

         Teeny 2-3 years                                          Junior 10-12 years

         Tiny 4-6 years                                             Teen 13-16 years

                                                                            Miss 17-23 (single, never married, no children)

                                                                            Ms 24+ years (married, single, divorced)

Titles: There will be one Grand Supreme and one People's Choice in the 0-6 year division and one Grand Supreme and

         one People's Choice in the 7+ year  division. You can not double crown as Supreme and Division queen, but you

            can with the People's Choice.

Scoring: All contestants will be scored on a scale of 1-20 on beauty, poise, personality, gown and overall appearance.

            Optionals will be scored during a group line-up.

Prizes: Supreme Queens will receive gorgeous 6" full, round crowns, trophy, custom embroidered sash and sash pin.

           Division Queens will receive a beautiful full round crown, trophy, custom embroidered sash, and sash pin.

           Runner-ups will receive a nice trophy. All optional winners will receive a trophy. Casualwear winners will receive

Supreme Queens: To be eligible for this title, you must enter the Supreme package.

People’s Choice: There is no entry fee for this category. There will be one people’s choice winner. Votes are $1 each.

Optionals: The five optionals include prettiest hair, smile, and dress, most photogenic and most beautiful.

Casual Wear: Anything goes! Can be off the rack or custom-made. Western wear, back-to-school wear, swimsuit, patriotic,

            dazzle wear, etc. Your only limitation is your imagination. (Please keep it age appropriate!) They are judging your

            overall appearance and personality on stage. Music will be upbeat, so have fun with it!

Rehearsal: We will not have a rehearsal. We will have the basic “T”-walk. You can come early to practice and get a

           feel for the stage if you would like.

Admission: Door admission will be $5.00 for everyone except contestant & 1 parent. Children 3 and under are admitted

           free. Visiting queens will be admitted free.  Please sign the sheet at check-in so you can be recognized during the pageant!
